The UITBB Women's Committee meets in Mali

The 3rd meeting of UITBB Women Committee and first meeting on African soil will take place in Bamako, Mali from May 17th to May 19th. It will be attended by no less than 10 African unions, plus delegations from Australia, Cyprus, and Denmark . On the second day, some thirty women workers from Mali will attend a seminar aiming at raising awareness on ILO gender policies, recommendations and conventions. This seminar will be officially opened by the Minister of Housing,  Land Affairs and City Planning of Mali, Ms Gakou Salimata Fofana. The third day will be devoted to the visit of a building site.
