ILLEGAL SACKINGS IN COLOMBIA

The Latin American Federation of Workers in the Construction, Wood and Building Materials Industries FLEMACON has sent a letter tho the CEO of the Colombian branch of the Mexican multinational CEMEX, present in some 50 countries, to demand the reinstatement of 15 workers unduely deprived of their work and meaning of subsistence. They demand as well that CEMEX stops externalising job to companies who do not comply with minimum standards according to the Colombian legislation in force.
